Avanti 2.5 Cu. Ft. Superconductor Refrigerator - Black

Excellent organization for a small medical office fridge to store supplies. Ideal in not having a freezer section to defrost. We have yet to see how well it holds the cold in a power failure(our previous unit would fare pretty well due to the build up of ice in the freezer section!) Easy to move into place due to the light weight, but tends to shift when opening the very tight sealing door due to the light weight. Overall very satisfied.

Great Quiet Fridge
This refrigerator is very quiet and light. I was able to take it right up the stairs no problems. It is a very quiet running fridge. I found that it held a lot of food and drinks. I did have a little issue with placing it on the carpet and the door was hard to open so I propped some cardboard under it. It is so light that I eventually put crates under it to lift it off the floor. No, it didn't tip over or fall off when I opened the door on the crates. I did find the vacuum seal which is great, except when you need to open the door immediately after shutting it. Overall best small fridge I have had. No condensation inside which I love.

Right size, wrong space
We ordered this refrigerator because of the 17" width. It fit perfectly in the space we needed it to fit, unfortunately we didn't allow for the 5" spaces needed around it for air flow. Found another way to use it in our camper and it operates very well! Very handy small refrigerator.

A:
Robin, we don't have the exact electrical specifications on this unit, but I know a thermoelectric refrigerator of this size would draw an amp or less on a 120V AC current.Details:
I would like to get something that will hold a 6.5 gal glass carboy. the minimum INTERIOR dimensions needed are 13" depth/width and 28" highAnswers
A:
Based on the minimum dimensions you need, this will not fit. The interior dimensions of this item are 24.75" high X 13.5" wide X 12" deep.Answers
A:
Hello! The interior dimensions for this unit are 13" depth x 25" Height and 14" Wide. This model is not going to work for storing your 26" Keg.
but, we do offer kegerators that are perfect to store your 26" keg. These units can also keep your keg beer cool and they comes with a tap at the top so you can serve beer at the same time.
I'm adding some of our best kegerator models for you to check!
Hope this solutions works best for your needs!

My Avanti 2.5 Superconductor appears to cool well, but on occasion when I open it, it is warm inside. I will close it and let it run for a day or so and then it is cool again. The door is always sealed properly. I hear it running constantly, so I know it is not a power issue. The unit is located in a garage where the ambient temperature fluctuates (never freezing). I first noticed this when the garage temperature has dropped to about 50 F. Is the unit supposed to behave like this (a defrost pattern??) or is it defective? It is about 4 months old. Thx, VicAnswers
A:
I am sorry to hear your unit is not working properly. The fluctuation in temperature appears to be the root cause of this problem. This unit performs best when the ambient temperature is between 60 and 80 degrees. Also, you will want to ensure that you have proper ventilation around the unit. You need 3 to 4 inches in the rear, and 2 to 3 inches on each side for ventilation.1 of 1
