Brew café quality coffee at home with the Bunn Velocity Brew High Altitude 10 Cup Home Coffee Brewer (BTX-BD). Specifically designed for use in high-altitude areas above 4,000 feet, this special version of Bunn's BTX model offers Bunn brewing perfection with the convenience and consistency of a thermal carafe. Patterned after Bunn's commercial and restaurant brewing systems, the BTX's stainless steel brew tank uses an internal thermostat to keep brew water at approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit - the optimal temperature to extract maximum flavor from coffee. The Bunn brewing system then showers water over the ground coffee using a specially designed sprayhead - creating optimum turbulence in the funnel to suspend ground coffee and extract flavor evenly and thoroughly.
