The Metrokane Citrus Power Juicer (model: 1009) exerts more than 1,000 pounds of pressure, which means it's also the most effortless to use. Limes, lemons, oranges, and grapefruit give up every drop of juice with just a swing of the lever. A stainless-steel pouring pitcher catches and pours the juice, and the stainless-steel cone and funnel remove for easy cleaning. Topping the scales at 10 pounds, due to the durable all-metal body, and standing 20 inches tall, the Citrus Power needs a good, clear space for operation and storage. The juicer is beautifully finished in polished chrome, and makes a superb gift for the fresh juice aficionado. Metrokane covers the Citrus Power with a lifetime warranty on moving parts.

So far so good Based on some of the reviews I read before about the screw, I was hesitant to buy but so far it's been great! It's much faster and cheaper for what I need than an electric citrus juicer. It also seems to get a lot more juice out which is a plus! May 8, 2013
Piece of junk! I bought one of these about 8 years ago and used it periodically until it failed a couple of months ago. I was happy enough with the product that I bought another one. 2 months ago. My new citrus press had smaller and thinner parts. The quality had decreased dramatically in the past 8 years. After using the citrus juicer daily for 2 months, it failed completely and is no longer usable. The tiny screw installed to keep the top of the unit containing the lever mounted to the base stripped so the top spun freely within a very short period of time. A couple of weeks later, the entire top of the unit popped off and couldn't be fixed. Additionally, the lever "gear" mechanism flattened out as the screw holding the lever in place failed rendering the product completely useless. My husband can usually fix just about anything, but he told me this was a piece of junk. He could not make any kind of lasting repair. We will never buy another Metrokane anything after this.
